Contest rules

The contest “Win a private Make-Up Lesson with a Clarins Make-Up Artist!” is organized by Clarins Canada Inc. The contest starts on August 1st, 2010 and will finish on September 30th, 2010 at 5 pm (Montreal local time). The random draw will be made at the Clarins Canada Inc. offices, located at 815 Desserte Est, Autoroute 13, Laval, Qc H7W 5N4, Quebec, CANADA.

How to participate

To enter, go to http://ca-fr.clarins.com (French Canada) or http://ca.clarins.com (English Canada) to complete the entry ballot in full. Once completed, the participant must click on the “I want to win” link in order to transmit its participation information then click on the link of the confirmation e-mail received in order to confirm the participation. One entry per email address will be authorized.

Prize to win

Twelve (12) private Make-Up Lessons with a Clarins Make-Up Artist. The lessons will take place in Montréal, Toronto and Vancouver. Transport fees are not covered by Clarins Inc and the winners have to go to the event’s place by their own means.

Duration of contest

Contest starts on August 1st, 2010 at 9 am (Montreal local time) and continues until September 30th, 2010 at 5 pm (Montreal local time). All entries must be transmitted at the latest on September 30th, 2010 at 5 pm (Montreal local time).

Admissibility

This contest is open to residents of Canada who are 18 years old and over excluding employees of Clarins Canada Inc., any of their parent, affiliated companies, representatives, dealers and agents plus those with whom they are domiciled. The participant is the person which name is indicated on the participation form transmitted to enter the contest.

Winner selection and draw date

The random draw, among eligible entrants that completed and transmitted in full the entry ballot no later than the contest closing date, will take place on October 7th, 2010 at 3:00 pm (Montreal local time) at the Clarins Canada Inc. offices. The winners will be the twelve (12) persons drawn randomly during the draw. Winners will be contacted via e-mail. If, after taking reasonable measures, the person which name was randomly drawn at the time of the draw can not be reached by the contest holder in the next 5 opening days after the draw date, this person will be disqualified and the contest holders will proceed in doing another draw until a valid winner is identified. Dates of the events will be given to the selected participants at the time of the draw. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.

Contest closing date

Only eligible entrants that completed and transmitted in full the entry ballot no later than September 30th, 2010 at 5 pm (Montreal local time) will be eligible.
No purchase necessary.
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties to reach a settlement.
